Old Friends Farm is proud of our feathered employees- for their beautiful and delicious eggs, and their companionship. They also play a key role in the fertility of the farm. Every five days they are moved to a new spot of the pasture- they eat lots of grass and insects and "pay rent" as they "go".  The eggs have deep orange yolk color, a rich flavor, and a loyal customer following.  For some fun pictures and descriptions of chicks hatching on the farm a few years ago, click here.

Our eggs are available at our stands at the Amherst Farmers' Market and the Northampton Tuesday Farmers' Market.
During the winter they are available at the Amherst Winter Market at the Atlas Farm booth.

To see how our eggs rate compared to other Certified Organic eggs, consult the Cornucopia Institutes recent research egg survey.
