Local Venues and Open Space Ideas

Bramble Hill- beautiful barn space available for small private functions. Seasonal.  We have decorated several events in their barn space.
Look Park- large park in Northampton offering trails, open spaces, facilities and more.
Mount Pollucks- for a small ceremony in a beauitful place, Mt. Pollucks offers great views.  It is public land and has a small parking lot off of South East Street in South Amherst.  This space is non-reservable, but rarely used.  
Skinner House- on the Holyoke Range with an incredible view of the Connecticut River.  Land space as well as facilities.
Wollam Hill Quaker Center- a beautiful pastoral Deerfield quaker farm and square shaped meeting house/church space.  Has some buildings and allows tents too.

Local Caterers Using Local Ingredients

Pengyew Chin Catering- From pad thai to dolmas, Pengyew makes delectable food out of local ingredients.  He often uses our farm's Organic salad greens, eggs and flowers for his events.
The Organic Gourmet- Leslie cooks incredible food, often using veggies and salad from our farm.  She also writes scrumptious cookbooks.

Local Tent Company

Hilltown Tents- excellent party tents, tables, linens from a friendly family-owned business.

Other Local Flower Options

Andrew's Greenhouse- South Amherst- Pick your own gardens open from May until August.  Pay by the pound.  Excellent selection of perennials including the best peonies on the block!

ASCFG- Association of Speciality Cut Flower Growers is a great resource for finding flower growers, wedding arrangers and flower enthusiasts across the country.  Search their website for the growers nearest you!

Florists in the area: Knowles Flowers in Amherst and Nuttlemans Florist in Northampton both buy local flowers, including flowers from our farm

Flower Hill Farm- Williamsburg- Carol is a talented arranger and lover of local flowers.  We see her often at our stand at market, selecting the perfect stems to create her arrangements.

Little Pond Flower Farm- Belchertown- Grows and arranges flowers for local events as well as market.  Often we supplement our flowers with Marie's flowers, and vice versa.  Local collaboration is GREAT!  If you want dahlias, Little Pond is the place!!

Local Musicians and Event Entertainment

Brenden Taaffe- skilled fiddle, voice, contradance caller.  Irish and New England songs for adults and kids.

Housetop- beautiful voice harmonies, western swing, 30's sound.

Magic Foot- excellent contradance band for dances or events.

Matt Lorenz- jaw-dropping one man band; also cello for ceremonies or background.

Jazer Giles- fantastic solo accordion, piano; pretty much all styles.

Phillip Sherwood-Berndt- melodic, whimsical guitar, harmonica, voice.

Royal Frog Ballet- clowning, art and sculpture installations, you name it.

Rusty Belle- brother sister duo with groovy rhythms, outstanding vocals; originals and covers.
